Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT #139892

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Marianna works with individuals, couples, and adolescents experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression due to chronic illness, adoption, gender-related issues, and everyday life stressors.

Marianna utilizes various therapeutic approaches that best fit the clients needs, but mainly draw upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy allows her to identify faulty/unhelpful ways of thinking, learned patterns/unhelpful behavior, and help clients create and utilize positive coping skills. Marianna’s goal as a therapist is to help her clients learn how to improve their daily functioning and overall quality of life. She is passionate about creating a safe, accepting, and nonjudgemental space for clients to reflect, heal, and grow.

Marianna was born and raised in Fresno, California. She graduated from California State University, Fresno with a bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Criminology. She chose to further her education and graduated from Northcentral University with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Marianna has spent the last 3 years working with clients from a variety of populations.

Marianna is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and hope to become EMDR certified in the near future.
