Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, AMFT #132294

As a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Christin enjoys working with individuals, couples and children that are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, addiction and codependency. She works from a family systems approach to help facilitate healthy communication and to help identify the toxic patterns that are causing the unwanted symptoms. Christin also uses Cognitive Behavioral techniques to help individuals learn how their thoughts, emotions and behaviors are linked and then how to make changes in order to reach their goals. Christin hopes that clients will learn new ways of thinking and recognize that they have the ability to make new choices rather than repeating the patterns of behavior that aren't working.

Christin has experience working in residential drug and alcohol abuse recovery centers, where she’s worked with women from ages 12-70 as they seek to find freedom from addiction. She’s helped them uncover the roots of their addiction so that they can live happy, healthy and sober lives.

Christin believes that everyone is capable of change, they just need motivation and support to take the steps necessary to build the happy life they've been wanting. She also believes in providing a safe, judgment free, loving environment where the client is free to be themselves and learn more about who they are and what they need to live a happy life.
