Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, AMFT# 119547

Valeriano R. Ramolete Jr, MA, AMFT

Val is experienced in working with individuals and couples who have encountered difficulties associated with codependency, relationship problems, life transitions, anger, and intimate partner violence.

As a Century Anger Management Certified Provider, Val has extensive training in helping individuals overcome the anger issues that are negatively impacting their relationships and quality of life.

He is passionate about facilitating a safe and accepting environment for self-reflection, learning, healing, and growth. He is also nonjudgmental, encouraging, and supportive. Val’s therapeutic approach integrates cognitive behavioral and attachment theory. This approach enables an exploration of how attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors may be related to our current difficulties. It also allows the exploration of past attachments which may create disruptions in personal circumstances and relationships. Life goals and coping strategies can be assessed as the individual moves toward healing and growth.

Val received a Master of Arts degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Fresno Pacific University Biblical Seminary. As a marriage and family therapist, Val has worked with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds.

Under supervision of Michael C. Roubicek, PhD, LCSW

Val's Blog Articles

An individual’s potential and place in life is like a beautiful portrait that was painted of them before they were born. Unfortunately, life’s experiences and personal choices can alter that portrait over time. Coming to therapy can be seen as a way of providing a safe space to begin restoring your portrait, goals, and creating a new vision for your life.
