A Message From Our Team

We’d like to start by saying all of us at Roubicek & Thacker Counseling hope this message finds you and your family safe and healthy. We care about you, and your well-being is important to us.

We intentionally built Roubicek & Thacker Counseling to be a place where you can feel confident you are getting the best care from the best staff possible; a place individuals, couples and families can feel comfortable receiving help and a place to send those you love for help and support. This is and always has been our mission, now even more so given the current threat of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Our therapists are committed to assisting with your mental health needs during this time and providing you with accessible, consistent and safe ways to obtain services.

One of the ways we are doing so is by offering online sessions via a HIPAA-compliant remote therapy service available to clients on their phone or computer. As an ‘essential business’ our office remains open for in-person therapy sessions, but this online option is available for those who are not comfortable or able to come to our office.

Please factor in your understanding of your unique health needs and the needs of your loved ones when deciding whether to pursue an in-person office visit or to request remote therapy sessions.

We are also accepting new clients at this time. If you or someone you know could benefit from mental health services during this difficult time, please do not hesitate to contact our office.

We don't want anyone to think they have to wait until the coronavirus threat has passed to get the treatment they need. We are available to assist you and have implemented strategies to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.

Roubicek & Thacker Counseling remains a place for healing. A place where healing from the inside out is our focus. These are unprecedented and difficult times, and it is important to come together as a community to take care of one another in this time of crisis.

We are, and always will be, here for you.

Stacey Thacker, LMFT & Mike Roubicek, PhD., LCSW
